Egyptian Industrial Modernization Centre’s authenticated Hypertech as a provider of information technology to present tasks of developing the infrastructure of technological centers & increasing percentage of technology indicator of industry.
The Industrial Modernisation Programme (IMP) is an initiative of the Government of Egypt (GoE) co-funded by the European Commission to help develop international competitiveness in the industrial sector so that it can benefit from the new opportunities that will follow the liberalisation of trade and exposure to global markets. It is the first phase of the Government's long-term industrial development strategy.
To achieve this aim of modernising Egyptian industry, the Industrial Modernisation Centre (IMC), an autonomous, private sector orientated organisation, was created under Presidential Decree 477 in the year 2000 to implement the programme. The programme is comprised of five integrated sub-programmes: Policy Change; Technical Assistance; Quality, Financing Schemes and Business Resource Centres.
The Business Resource Centres (BRCs) constitute a national network of local business development service institutions. These service institutions/ business resource centres will continue to operate beyond the lifetime of the IMP. They will serve as a strategic delivery arm of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Industry by acting as a catalyst for modernizing the Egyptian industry as well as playing a role in fostering entrepreneurship.
